Birth Control Risks. << Link
Last Wednesday, the health secretary for the first time disagreed with scientists , and refused to make the morning after pill available to females of all ages without prescription.
But there has been many concerns that the birth control pills that contain drospirenone such as Bayer AG's , Yaz ,& Yasmin, has a higher risk of blood clots.
The article stated, " An FDA study estimated that 10 in 10,000 women taking the dispirenone-containing drugs would get a blood clot per year... ".... " A clot in the blood vessels can prove fatal if breaks lose and travels to the lungs, heart, or brain."
Even though the pills were taken off the market, many wonen didnt take birth control which gave them higher risks of pregnancies they didnt want or maybe even abortion. Sciientists have been working on this issue since 1995 and they STILL havent came up with a solution for this horrible killer birth control pill. scientist need to get their selves together if you ask me.
